You can tell people what they need to
know very fast.
But, they will forget what you tell them even faster.
People are more likely to understand what they can figure out
for themselves, than what you figure out for them.
Learning as many organizations have since 9/11, is not an
automatic consequence or an urge to respond due to a tragedy! It
requires the learner's own mental and physical involvement.
Simply lecturing, consulting, or demonstrating by them self,
will never lead to real lasting learning.
Only training that is pro active will!
Our advice, analysis, and training methods are very active
because your staff does most of the work. They use their
emotions as well as their brains------ learning ideas and
formulas to solve their own and other problems, by stimulating
and realizing questions and applying what they have learned to
their own environment.
The process is fast pace just as an actual crisis, but without
Culpability. Rather this is fun, very supportive, teams and
relationships are forged perhaps for the first time, everyone is
personally engaging to benefit themselves and for the survival
of the organization. We may mutually decide that the best
approach to accelerate a holistic review of your crisis
preparedness and recovery is to do on site seminar(s).
This will confirm immediately any existing or omissions to the
policy manuals of compliance. A seminar is less threatening and
often participants are out of their seats, moving about,
thinking aloud, while practicing and developing skills that
unfortunately may be necessary one day.
