"Preventing

will learn from my early experiences that started when still in
college. I was part of the first group of individuals ever to experience
and witness the affects of terrorism from 1969-74 at JFK International
Airport during a period known as the beginning of Skyjacking, Hijacking and
finally called Terrorism while employed by a major airline."
Later he served our country and was chosen to be the Physical Security
Counter Terrorist Project Officer. In 1977 his research and strategies
became Army Doctrine and supported the Pentagon's efforts in creating the
elite Delta Force Team. One of his earliest and perhaps greatest
challenge was designing the authority, jurisdiction, communication,
command controls and relationships between the military, the FBI and the State
Department. His published works include more than a dozen books, field
manuals, training circulars, and instructor's guides on subjects ranging from
Terrorism, Physical Fitness for Women to Computer Security.
In
1981 he served as the executive in charge for all security, safety, logistic
reporting, crisis and communication procedures including labor negotiations with a
teamster local during the construction phase of the World Financial Center,
which at the time was the world's largest commercial construction project.
In
1993 after becoming widowed, he embraced the saying "knowledge is
power" by launching and producing the first live parenting call in
radio talk show for the largest education system in the country, New York
City. His goal was to help parents with their individual crisis of
developing a love of learning in their children. He has served as an
advisor/consultant/provider/contributor to various corporations, law enforcement and government
agencies including the Office of the Mayor of NYC, the Human Resource
Administration, and the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs. The later agency
turned to him for a risk assessment and decision whether or not to allow a
City venue be the host of the first U.S.visit by Salman
Rushdie, the author of the Satanic Verses.
He
was invited to speak and serve on the panel for the first Global Summit on
Aviation Safety and Security in Washington, DC. Another significant
accomplishment was a strategy created under the authority of the FTA
Federal Transportation Agency which was approved and deemed the model
for the country in bus and rail revenue management. Other efforts include
creating a strategy to deal with the crisis of drugs in schools and communities.
He has been a guest at the White House to discuss a number of relative
issues with Presidential staff as well as meetings with members of the
ruling families of two foreign governments.
For
2004 he will be the guest speaker at the Contingency Planning and Management
Expo. The session and subject that will be presented is titled "A
Diagnostic Guide for Improving your Organization's Crisis Preparedness."
